In our society, we often don’t do big things because we’re so afraid of making mistakes that we ignore all the things wrong today if we do nothing. The reality is, anything we do will have issues in the future. But that can’t keep us from starting.
在社会中，我们并不经常做一些了不起的事，因为我们害怕犯错。如果我们什么都不做，我们就忽视了今天所有的问题。事实上，我们做的任何事情将来可能都会有问题。但这不能阻止我们开始。
Purpose is that sense that we are part of something bigger than ourselves, that we are needed, that we have something better ahead to work for. Purpose is what creates true happiness.
目标让我们感觉自己属于大于自身的一部分，感觉自己是被需要的，感觉前方有更好的东西等着我们去为之奋斗，目标能创造真正的快乐。
And I know that a lot of you are concerned about your future, but there's no need to worry. The economy is booming, the job market is wide open, the planet is just fine. It's gonna be great.
我知道你们很担心自己的未来，但是你们没有必要过于担心，经济在增长，就业市场为大家敞开着，这个地球也还不错，一切都会好的。
I would like to make it clear, in parenthesis, that I do not blame my parents for their point of view. There is an expiry date on blaming your parents for steering you in the wrong direction; the moment you are old enough to take the wheel, responsibility lies with you.
我想澄清一下：我不会因为父母的观点，而责怪他们。埋怨父母给你指错方向是有一个时间段的。当你成长到可以控制自我方向的时候，你就要自己承担责任了。
