Section 37
道常无为而无不为。侯王若能守之,万物将自化。化而欲作,吾将贞之以无名之朴。无名之朴,夫亦将无欲。不欲以静,天下将自定。
The Dao does nothing,
Yet nothing is left undone.
If rulers could hold on to it,
All things would naturally transform.
If transforming stirs up desires,
I would guide it with the nameless of Pu.
The nameless of Pu brings no desire.
Without desire there is stillness.
And the world will be at peace of its own accord.
