• I wanna say something about a place called Yangmeikeng valley, which is arguably the most beautiful valley in the city of Shenzhen.
• I went there last month with my classmates. It was sort of like a spring outing kind of thing. We cycled for more than two hours along the coast, by the way, it didn’t feel that long, because it was so much fun. And um, we also had seafood barbecue and beer on the roof of a small family inn by the sea. We had a real blast there.
• As for why I liked it, well, the most obvious reason would be the sea view. I wouldn’t have believed how stunning it was, if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. The sea was crystal clear and you could see all the way to the bottom; and trees along the coast were leafy and shady. For these reasons, it’s become the most popular destination where young couples in our city shoot their wedding photos.
• Besides, another thing that impressed me a lot was the simple and honest local businessmen. They didn’t charge ridiculous prices for food, drink and bike rental, like a great many businessmen were doing in some other famous tourist attractions. What they did was providing fair services at a reasonable price. That certainly made us love the place more.
• In a word, I really regret not knowing this place sooner. And I am really looking forward to going back there sometime this summer.
