There are multiple aspects that we need to look at when determining whether a company is sustainable, and some of the aspects are the ones that the general public would often ignore when thinking about a brand.
The public’s impressions of brands are heavily influenced by the brands’ marketing and communication. Using Apple as an example, the public might regard the brand as sustainable after seeing the company stopped using plastic wrap for their products and canceled chargers that used to come for free with iPhone and Apple Watch; however, other factors should also be considered including the supply chain and upgrade rate of products which make Apple far from being sustainable.
In this episode, we explore a creative and critical way to look at companies.
