本期节目我们对谈的嘉宾是--Elisha Cooper。他的绘本作品《Big Cat, Little Cat》2018年获得了凯迪克大奖。这个看似简单的故事却有着非常深刻的主题，可以触动读者内心复杂的情感。
Elisha目前共出版了25本书，有很多都是获奖作品。毕业于耶鲁大学历史系，他戏称自己大学期间是“成绩很差”的学生，虽然没怎么花时间在学业上，他看了不少书，也在一门关于中国历史的课上学到很多如何讲好故事的方式。
本期节目我们主要围绕他2021年4月刚刚出版的新书《Yes&No》的创作进行了深度交流，同时也探讨了他的成长、他对童书的看法等等。
Elisha Cooper is a Caldecott Honor winner in 2018 for his book Big Cat, Little Cat. He has written twenty-five books, mostly for children, and also books for adults. Graduated from Yale, where he majored in History, he joked that he was a "bad student" since he didn't spend much time on his studies, but he did spend a lot of time reading. And he loved going listen professor Jonathan Spence's Classes about Chinese history. It's the way of storytelling that influenced him a lot.
