Human beings and most animals have a spine. So I have some objects. The title of a book is usually printed both on its front cover and on its spine. Some plants, such as the cactus have spines，too，but then the meaning is different. It refers to the sharp needle- like parts on them.
It is hard to imagine that a person does not have a spine. But spiritually some people are indeed spineless. They are people who are lacking in moral strength or courage. Never be one of them. Be a person who has spine and starch.
人和大多数动物都有脊骨，有些物品也有，书名就通常印在封面和书脊上。某些植物例如仙人掌也有spine，但含义有所不同，它指植物身上尖尖的针刺。
