"end up"
- Meaning: If you end up being somewhere, or doing something, it's because of decisions you've made in the past.
For example:
1. If Jimmy keeps taking drugs, he'll end up in jail or dead.
2. If you don't study hard, you could end up doing a job you don't like much.
