英语美文~YOU HAVE A CHOICE

I woke up early today, exited over all I get to do before the clock strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to fulfill today. I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have. Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free. Today I can feel sad that I don’t have more money or I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely and guide me away from waste. Today I can grumble about my health or I can rejoice that I am alive. Today I can lament over all that my parents didn’t give me when I was growing up or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born. Today I can cry because roses have thorns or I can celebrate that thorns have roses. Today I can mourn my lack of friends or I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships. Today I can whine because I have to go to work or I can shout for joy because I have a job to do. Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or I can feel honored because the Lord has provided shelter for my mind, body and soul. Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped. And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping. What today will be like is up to me. I get to choose what kind of day I will have! 清晨。我早早醒来，为自己在午夜钟声前将要做的一切激动不已。我有责任让今天过的充实。我很重要。 选择如何度过每一天，这是我的工作。 今天下雨了，我可以抱怨雨天，也可以感激草地不用再去浇灌。 今天没有足够的钱了，我可以难过，也可以欣喜其让我懂得了理性消费和引导我远离浪费。 今天我可以因为健康问题而抱怨，也可以庆幸我仍然活着。 今天我可以悲叹小时候父母给予的太少，也可以万分感激他们赋予了我生命。 今天我可以因为玫瑰带刺而哭泣，也可以为刺上的有玫瑰花而感到欢喜。 今天我可以悲伤于朋友太少，也可以为未来可以开拓更多的人际关系而兴奋不已。 今天我可以为上班而感到难过，也可以高呼我还有工作可以去做。 今天我可以为做家务而唉声叹气，也可以为上帝赐予了我这身体和灵魂的避风港，而倍感荣耀。 今天伸展在我面前，等待我去塑造，在此，我就是决定它什么样子的雕塑家。 今天是什么样，完全由我决定，今天如何度过，全由我来选择。
