Long time ago, the world was very new. There was a man and his hardworking camel. Day and night they rode and rode over the dry sands.
They rode in the heat of the day
They traveled through the cold night.
They walked through whirling sandstorms.
Its feet became flat from walking.
Its eyelashes grew long from squinting.
Its chest and knees grew furry from resting on the cold ground.
Camel became strong from carrying heavy sacks of food, water, and coins.
But the man never shared his food or water with poor Camel. So Camel could only find what it could in the dry, dry, dry desert.
One day, Camel’s broad and flat feet bumped a magic lamp. Inside the lamp there was a genie!
As everyone knows, if you ever find a genie, it will give you 3 wishes. So the man snatched the lamp and began to make his first wish,
“ I wish I could have 50 bags of wealth.” said the man.
“ No problem! You can have 50 bags of wealth.” said the genie.
Then the man made his second wish, “I wish I could have 50 years of health.”
“ No problem!” said the genie, “ You can have 50 years of health.”
Just at this time, Camel began to grunted, “ I walked us here. I found the lamp. I want a wish!”
“ Very well,” said the genie. “ What do you wish then?”
“ I wish the water I carried was for myself.”
Instantly, Camel had its hump!
And the man had his 50 bags of wealth. But he did a lot of bad things and was sent to prison. In the prison he was always thirsty, for 50 years.
But to a camel, once it fills its hump, it is never thirsty!
