You can find out by watching the film Climbers. It opened in theaters on Sept 30. 珠穆朗玛峰是世界上最高的山。大约60年前爬上这座山有多难?你可以通过看电影登山者来找出答案。它已于9月30日在影院上映。   The film tells the real stories of Chinese climbers. They climbed the mountain in 1960 and 1975. 这部电影讲述了中国登山者的真实故事。他们在1960年和1975年攀登了这座山。   On the northern slope of Mt Qomolangma, there is a 30-meter-high cliff. No one can get to the top without going over this cliff. In 1960, a Chinese climbing team tried to reach the top. The four members stood on each other’s  shouldrs to climb the cliff. Although they didn’t have enough oxygen and food, they still made it to the top. They became the first people to reach the top of Mt Qomolangma from the northern slope. 在珠穆朗玛峰的北坡上,有一座30米高的悬崖。没有人不经过这个悬崖就能爬到山顶。1960年,一支中国登山队试图登上顶峰。这四位成员互相站在对方的肩膀上爬悬崖。虽然他们没有足够的氧气和食物,但他们仍然做到了顶峰。他们成为第一批登上珠穆朗玛峰的人。 在北坡上。   Fifteen years later, another Chinese climbing team reached the peak. They spent a whole day building a metal ladder on the cliff. The ladder helped more than 1300 climbers from all over the world realize their dream of climbing the mountain. The ladder was retired in 2008.
