【小听童中英文绘本故事】好饿的毛毛虫 The Very Hungry Caterpillar In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf. One Sunday morning,the warm sun came up and pop, out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar. He started to look for some food. On Monday，He ate through one apple. But he was still hungry. On Tuesday，He ate through two pears. But he was still hungry. On Wednesday，He ate through three plums. But he was still hungry. On Thursday，He ate through four strawberries. But he was still hungry. On Friday，He ate through five oranges. But he was still hungry. On Saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake , one ice-cream cone , one pickle , one slice of cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon. That night he had a stomach ache. 　　The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through one piece of green leaf, and after that he felt much better. Now he wasn’t hungry any more---and he wasn’t a little caterpillar any more. He was a big, fat caterpillar. He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and he was a beautiful butterfly. 月光下，一颗小小的卵，躺在叶子上，一个星期天的早晨，暖和的太阳升起来了——啪！——从卵壳里钻出一条又小又饿的毛毛虫。他要去找一些东西来吃。 　　星期一，他啃穿了一个苹果。可他还是觉得饿。 　　星期二，他啃穿了两个梨子，可他还是觉得饿。 　　星期三，他啃穿了三个李子，可他还是饿。 　　星期四，他啃穿了四个草莓，可他还是饿得受不了。 　　星期五，他啃穿了五个桔子，可他还是饿呀。 　　星期六，他啃穿了一块巧克力蛋糕， 一个冰淇淋甜筒， 一条腌黄瓜， 一片奶酪， 一截萨拉米火腿， 一根棒棒糖， 一个樱桃派， 一段香肠， 一只杯形蛋糕， 还有一片西瓜。 那天晚上，毛毛虫的肚子好痛！ 　　第二天，又是星期天了。 毛毛虫啃穿了一片嫩绿的叶子，然后，他感觉好多了。 　　现在他一点儿也不饿了——他也不再是一条小毛毛虫了。他是一条胖嘟嘟的大毛毛虫了。 　　他造了一间小房子，叫做“茧”, 把自己包在里头。他在里面住了两个多星期。 　　然后，他在茧壳上啃出一个洞洞，钻了出来…… 　哇！ 他变成了一只好漂亮的蝴蝶了！
