Manners Time by Elizabeth Verdick
Manners start here, with a SMILE. Then you add the words…
HELLO is how you greet someone. Do a little wave!
Look the person in the eye when you say GOOD-BYE!
Whenever you ask, please says PLEASE!
THANK YOU! Tells others we’re grateful. YOU’RE WELCOME is what we say back.
Here’s a nice way to say no: NO, THANK YOU. ( A smile helps too.)
If you (oops) bump into someone, or sneeze, cough or burp, say EXCUSE ME.
Whenever you make a mistake, say I’M SORRY.
I FORGIVE YOU means “That’s okay.” Now how about a hug?
The words GOOD JOB can put a smile on someone’s face – try them!
Wow, you have good manners. GOOD JOB!
