I think those words are so easy to understand that I don’t even have to explain them to you. And there’s only one thing I’d like to talk about. That’s “so come on and give me a chance to prove I am the one who can walk that mile”.
We know mile is a unit of distance on land. But here it is not the physical distance but a metaphor that means the journey of life which we are going to share together.
Soothing and soft the melody may sound, the lyrics show the determination, desire and courage for the love she wants.

As you can hear there’s one sentence which has been repeated again and again at the end, that is I know it ain’t easy giving up your heart.
Maybe you don’t quite understand the giving up part because giving up is supposed to be something like abandoning hope. But actually, give up can also mean devoting entirely to.
Maybe we can put it in this: falling in love with someone else always involves giving up part of yourself. And hope you can find your one and only.
