Joe couldn’t change its position. All he wanted was something under its left foot. Joe then knelt down in front of the foot. He took a knife out of his pocket and started to dig a hold around it. Once the hole was enlarged and extended all the way under the foot, Joe poked his hand into the hole seeking any object or substance. Although not unexpected, he felt something smooth but very cold. Joe fetched the thing out of the hole. It was a big black button, which as approximately 30 centimetres wide, and its thickness exceeded a thumb’s width. The button groaned slightly as the dead souls that were held captive inside the button tried o free themselves. A procession of hawks came forth into the sunlight, which produced a long shadow on the giant rock. Joe turned around, clearly remembering what Coco said about the sword and the button. The sword couldn’t be pulled out of the rock unless it felt the dead souls it had ever claimed. As Joe touched the sword with the black button, the sword was wakening up, trembling back and forth.
