Tom’s Self-introduction Hi everybody. This is Tom stone. I graduated from Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities in the year of 2004. After graduation, I decided to stay here as a teacher of English because I will get experience and have responsibilities that I wouldn’t be able to get for years in other famous universities. I like the idea of being a big fish in a small pond. In my spare time, I like to do anything related to English such as listening to English songs, watching American movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some English clubs and also I am interested in communicating with our foreign friends whenever possible. You know what? When I am alone, I often talk to myself in English for this is the most efficient way to improve my English. When it comes to my job, I have a passion for what I am doing right now. I am the happiest when I am with my students. The students here really captured my heart and I still feel right about my choice to be a teacher here. As for the future, I just wanna say, DO YOUR BEST NOW. To be frank, the responsibility I have for the future starts when I realize that we ourselves create the future--- that the future is not something imposed on us by fate or some other forces beyond our control. We ourselves build the future both through what we do and what we do not do. My motto is: Be good, do right.
