That was an unconditional love from the tree which expected nothing but happiness from the boy. While the boy didn't seem so grateful as he should be. Every time when he came to the tree, he took something from her, until nothing was left, without even a thank. This also appeals to the relationships between the Mother Nature and human beings, as well as the parents and the kids. So if you are listening now please treat our Mother Nature better and left more for our future generations, and spend more time with your parents, it could be a phone call, a meal time or just sit around and speak nothing at all.
