Episode 16 (script) Jack and Mei Mei This is the story of Mei Mei, a Chinese girl, and Jack, a laowai. This is a story of love, violence and misunderstanding. This is their Chinglish story. One day Jack and Mei Mei were in a shop buying a gift for their teacher. Suddenly something happened. M: Do you like this for the teacher? J: I don’t know. M: What about this? J: Maybe. Robber1：Everybody be cool, this is a robbery! Robber2: Nobody move, nobody gets hurt see! M: Oh no! J: Ahhhh. M: Don’t worry Jack. I will save us. J: What? M: No one will hurt you. Then Mei Mei faced the robbers. M: Don’t move! I’m Mei Mei Lee. Mei Mei kicked ass and went back to Jack. J: Wow! You fight very well! M: My grandfather Bruce taught me. J: Are you ok? M: Yes. Nobody hurts my Jack or I will catch fire! J: What?! M: I will catch fire! J: What?! You don’t say catch fire, you say “get very angry” Will Mei Mei teach Jack how to fight?
