本期选曲从两首复古Synth-Pop开始，新晋的洛杉矶电子流行组合Doctor Fluorescent和一个”全新“的Smile组合——瑞典独立摇滚乐队Peter Bjorn And John的贝斯Björn Yttling和Caesars/Teddybears的Joakim Åhlund。后者在复古路上走到了70年代的Krautrock，封面也是一副艺术摇滚时代的手稿模样。
真正来自70年代的Cabaret Voltaire奠定了工业音乐基础，也给Techno带来巨大影响。2014年，Richard H. Kirk完成了Cabaret Voltaire的重组使其成为了个人项目，重组Cabaret Voltaire的唯一专辑来自20年的Shadow of Fear，第二年Richard H. Kirk去世。选曲是Shadow of Fear里的Universal Energy。
本可以顺其自然收取一组在近年来复古80年代的合成器流行曲目，以便攒出一期接地线的广场舞歌单，毕竟80年代的disco青年在40年后正好是广场舞主力。但在被Cabaret Voltaire的宇宙能量带着偏了离了甜美80年代，后面的选曲反倒顺其自然极速完成，不以任何主题风格为支撑，看看变成什么样。于是既没有复古Synth-pop也没有转向techno，而是流动到了后摇滚（Maserati）和当代的迷幻摇滚（Teeth Of The Sea, The Limiñanas），少许受hip-hop影响的电子（Elliott Power, Botany）。
值得一提的还有法国迷幻乐队The Limiñanas和Techno音乐人Laurent Garnier的合作，一场公路背景的疯狂迷幻之旅。
