2. “go by”
a. As time went by, 表示时光流逝或者经过。
b. “My name is xxx（Chinese name）, and I go by xxx（English name）.”
我的名字是...，你也可以叫我...。
My name is Catherine, and I go by Cat.
我叫Catherine，你也可以叫我Cat。
3. “appreciate it” ＝ (Thank you very much./Thanks a lot.)
4. a. “How are you?” -“I’m good. ”
b. Do you want some chips with your sandwich?
你的三明治要带薯片吗？
No, I’m good. Thanks.

5. kind of… = nearly, approximately, almost, somewhat 模糊或者减弱语气的作用
I’m kind of lost.

6.“You lost me.”
a. “You’ve lost me forever, Edward.”
你永远失去我了，Edward。
b. “I’m sorry, you've lost me; could you explain it again? ”
不好意思，你有点儿把我搞糊涂了，你能再解释一遍吗？
7. 给出建议：
You might wanna/you don't wanna/Don’t you wanna.. ：for suggest somebody to do or not to do something 建议某人做或不做某事。
Don't you wanna call her in the middle of the night?
建议去做
