不过，dive这个单词，除了“头朝下进入水中”这个意思，如果用在有用之外，还有其他有趣的意思：
1、“To dive into something” can also mean to start working on a project with lots of energy but not, perhaps, a lot of planning.
“投入某件事”也意味着花费很多精力开始一个项目，但也许并不是有很多的规划。
2、如果我们在这个短语中，加入“headfirst”这个单词，就更能表示仓促的程度。headfirst字面上看来，就是头朝下，往下跳的状态。所以：
If you dive into something headfirst, you are even more excited and perhaps even less prepared!
