Chapter Four A Good Boy, Pinocchio Pinocchio goes to the sea. He swims and swims. He looks for the big fish. “There is the big fish! I must save Geppetto.” Pinocchio goes close to the fish. Oh,no! It opens its big mouth. And it swallows Pinocchio! Pinocchio is in the fish. It is dark and cold. Then he sees a light. He goes close to the light. Surprise! He sees Geppetto with the lamp there! “ Is that Geppetto?” cries Pinocchio. “Yes! Yes,Pinocchio!” “I looked for you day and night. Then one night I fell into the sea. And this fish swallowed me,” says Geppetto. Achoo! Achoo! Then the fish sneezes. “Good! This fish must have a cold. Maybe we can get out of here,” says Geppetto. Then they go close to the mouth of the fish. Achoo! Achoo! The fish sneezes again. Yahoo! They get out of the fish! Geppetto and Pinocchio are back home. Now Pinocchio goes to school. He studies hard. And he doesn’t tell lies. One night the Blue Fairy comes to Pinocchio. “Pinocchio, you are a good boy. Now you are a real boy,” she says. Now Pinocchio is not a puppet.
