I haven’t had a day off in months, so the thought alone is thrilling! Without a doubt, I would plan to do nothing! I mean, I would chill out at home to be a couch potato and to be as messy as I could. Because that is what taking a day off really means, isn’t it? To have a rest for my body and my soul.
First of all, I definitely would shut my alarm off! Then I could wake up till noon, to catch up on my sleep debt. Then, for the rest of the day, I might just lie in bed, watch some vulgar TV series, or maybe I could treat myself with homemade Margaritas. Ideally, the day would end up with a long bubble bath.
If all of these could be fulfilled, I think I would be energetic when the day ended. Because like I mentioned, I seldom have a day off and I work 24/6. Normally on my only day off, I have to catch up on some errands, like doing grocery shopping or household chores. So basically, I am still worn out every day. So if I were blessed with one day off of doing nothing but unwinding myself, I would feel like being charged and full of energy.
