US forecasters say Hurricane Matthew is gaining strength as it heads towards Florida with winds rising to 200km/h. Millions of people have started leaving their homes. The hurricane is still churning through the Bahamas with ferocious winds and rain and in Haiti, reports say at least 65 people have been killed by the storm.
And there's been an explosion in Turkey. It's said to have taken place near a police station in Istanbul. At least five people are reported to have been injured. No group has yet said it is behind the attack.
