In hot water的意思并不是"在热水中"。它的确切意思是指某人或某些人出境困难,遇到非常麻烦的问题了。If you want to say someone is in trouble, you can say someone is in hot water如果你要说“某人陷入了困境in trouble”，你可以用另外一种方法说“某人深陷水深火热之中in hot water”
