By far the most abundant type of groundwater is meteoric water; this is the groundwater that circulates as part of the water cycle. Ordinary meteoric water is water that has soaked into the ground from the surface, from precipitation (rain and snow) and from lakes and streams. There it remains, sometimes for long periods, before emerging at the surface again. At first thought it seems incredible that there can be enough space in the “solid” ground underfoot to hold all this water. 来我们看看第一行这个单词： Saturate: ['sætʃərɪt] 在本篇文章中表示渗透的意思。另外还有一个容易考的意思是饱和，Saturated Market,饱和的市场。这个词我们怎么记呢，有SAT开头的词，都带有足够的意思，比如说satisfy,满意，事情好到可以足够满意，satisfy, 而saturate,是足够多到可以渗透，足够多到饱和了。所以saturate就是渗透和饱和的意思。 Meteoric: [,mitɪ'ɔrɪk] 大气 这个词还有几个延伸需要记忆的词。 Meteorological[,miːtɪərə'lɒdʒɪkəl] 气象的， Meteorology [,miːtɪə'rɒlədʒɪ],气象学，这两个一个是形容词，一个是名词。Meteorite, ['mitɪəraɪt],流星 Soak into: 渗透入 Precipitation: [prɪ,sɪpɪ'teɪʃ(ə)n] :在文章中是指雨，露，雪等的降水，另外还有常考的是，沉淀和沉淀物。 At first thought，乍一想 Incredible:难以置信的，相当于unbelievable, 很多时候当你说这个词的时候，你表示一种极度的赞扬，比如我们造一个句，Lulu is incredible good looking，表示，lulu真是太好看了，简直就是美若天仙。哈哈，认同这点的人都很有品味，不知道在听课的同学，你是不是也很有品位呢？放心，只要你觉得LULU漂亮，就可以自动被归类成有品味的人啦。 At first thougtht和incredible这两个词虽然很简单，但是LULU拿出来说，是想告诉大家，托福阅读里面有很多好的句子和表达，我们都可以运用到口语和写作当中，因为这些表达都是极其地道的，如果能灵活运用，对将来的运用和考试，都非常有帮助！
