本期嘉宾:新加坡华侨银行经济学家谢栋铭 China May Inflation Falls to 1.2 pct, Producer Prices Continue to Slide Official figures show China&`&s consumer inflation eased in May while producer prices continued to fall. The Consumer price index, a main gauge of inflation, grew 1.2 percent year on year in May, narrowing from April&`&s 1.5 percent. Meanwhile, the producer price index, a measure of costs for goods at the factory gate, slid 4.6 percent year on year in May. It is the 39th consecutive month of declines. The drop in May was the index&`&s second-largest drop since its downward trend started in March 2012.
