The Fujian Free Trade Zone has topped the agenda at the 7th Straits Forum being held in the city of Xiaman in Fujian.
The Fujian FTZ is among the first batch of three zones launched this year following the opening of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone in 2013.
The new one mainly aims to strengthen the province&`&s cooperation and economic ties with Taiwan and further open up its financial sector for foreign investment.
Experts suggest clearer polices and stronger regulations are needed for the FTZ in the future.
