1. Well, it’s great to be here in China. I’m really enjoying being in this beautiful country. And you’re right – we have a golden era of UK-China relations.
非常高兴来到中国。我非常喜欢来到这样美丽的国家。您说得没错——现在是中英关系的黄金时代。
2. And what I’m seeing from this visit and what I think will come out of this visit is us being able to develop those links between the United Kingdom and China. Links on trade, of course, business relations, but also the opportunity for people to people links, links in education, for example.
这次访问我是这么看的，同时我希望能带来其他的结果，就是我们能够进一步发展英国和中国的关系。加强贸易和商务往来，并且提供更多人与人交流的机会，例如在教育等领域的合作。
3. So we hope to develop this golden era of UK-China relations. But I think we can build on it still further and enhance those links between our two countries.
我希望在中英关系黄金时代背景下，更进一步发展和加强英国和中国之间的联系。
4. We are both global countries with global outlook. And as the United Kingdom is leaving the European Union, we are going to be more outward-looking, and looking to enhance our relationships around the world. And this relationship with China is an important part of that.
我们两国都是具有全球视野的大国。随着英国退出欧盟，英国也将眼光进一步投向世界，希望能够与世界各地的国家加强联系。而中国是其中很重要的一部分。
