1. I actually started off studying film. I was a film major along with a psychology major. And throughout high school and even actually after college, I had really only one desire and that was to go into film but it didn't happen.
2. And by some weird coincidence, I actually got into music. So in some ways, I’m actually, I took a big detour and I’m kind of, I found the path back to where I actually originally wanted to go. And it's a tough process.
3. So for me, I think whether an Asian singer can be accepted into the Western mainstream may have a lot to do with the language and also, not so much just language, but what is being said behind the language.
实际上我是从学习电影开始的。我主修的是电影和心理学。在整个高中甚至大学毕业后都是如此。我真的只有一个愿望，那就是拍电影，但这并没有实现。
机缘巧合的是，我就进入了乐坛。所以在某种程度上，实际上，我绕了一个大弯，我找到了回到我最初想去的地方的路。这是一个艰难的过程。
