Step up is a story that tells⌒us dreams can come true if you go fight for them. Tyler is an⌒orphan with a lot⌒of problems. What he does every day is partying, stealing cars and messing around with his friends, but what⌒is worth mentioning is that he has⌒a passion for dancing. One time, he got 200 hours⌒of community service in Maryland School of the Arts for trashing the school’s theater. There Tyler met Nora, the best ballet['bæleɪ] dancer, who was busy with her senior showcase, sparing no effort to practice every day in⌒order to realize her dream as a professional dancer after graduation. Fortunately or unfortunately, Nora’s partner got injured and couldn't rehearse [rɪ'hɜːs] with her. After a series⌒of tests, Nora gave Tyler the opportunity and the two guys began to work together to prepare for Nora's final showcase. The encounter between them represented two different cultures and worlds adapting to each other, and changing each other. Tyler was one⌒of those who have dreams but do not actively pursue them, because of many of the lessons he has learned, like every time he rises to the hope, there will always be someone out there telling him that it is impossible; but Nora is completely opposite to Tyler, and she is one⌒of those who are aware⌒of what they want, and make every effort to fight for their dreams. Eventually, the two young people pushed aside all the difficulties that came their way. In Nora's showcase, they displayed a wonderful performance with the combination⌒of noble ballet dancing and flamboyant[flæm'bɔɪənt] street hip-hop. Benefiting by the wonderful showcase, Nora got the job offer from an Artist Management Company. And at the same time, Tyler got the transfer opportunity to the Maryland School of the Arts. In this movie, dancing not only represents the dazzlingly visual dance moves, but a positive life attitude and a healthy spirit of struggling. The life with dancing is more beautiful than we can ever imagine.
