But if you consider going outside the rooms with the central heating system, the primary and proud feature of cities in the north, that would be another story. For me myself, I have been bringing the heavy armours for winter school... -------------------------------------------------------- 被夸奖了好开心! 放上稿子的全文吧—— 有微量的临场发挥,所以不是一字一句对的上的啦~ Greetings everyone, it's good to see you here, especially after this long school week right? Being exhausted and worn out I'm afraid? Yet you have already finished all those hard work, and are finally ready for the coming weekend which you surely deserves, so, relax. Sorry that for some reasons I missed the programme last time, should you accept my apology, I will be grateful. Did you enjoy the holiday? Yes? I assume so, but it is also my responsibility to remind you, that you have just drained your holiday pool for the year 2016. And the second thing is that, as is the end of the 6th week drawing close, we now have 6 weeks out of 18, which is exactly one third of our term passed. But, don't panic, we the China U of Political science and Law do not have any sort of mid-term examination, if you newcomers still don't know yet. Okay, so much for this, let's get started then, shall we. As you can feel it yourself in the air, it has been quite chilly these days, and of course there is nothing we can do to help-but to watch it get worse, becoming freezing cold in the end. And especially for those of you who are from the southern part of our country, please consider yourself officially warned. But don't worry, unlike the frosty winter in the south, which is quite moist at night, here in Beijing, it might be much colder but, never any damper. I do know that awful feeling of tucking and sinking yourself into the bed, trembling fighting the cold outside your quilt. However, you will need to worry no more! Thanks to the heating pipelines stretching out from the boiling room, which is exactly where you are now getting hot water from, evening sleeps can now be tight and sound. But if you consider going outside the rooms with the central heating system, the primary and proud feature of cities in the north, that would be another story. For me myself, I have been bringing the heavy armours for winter school. Personally I recommend you to coat yourself with some kinds of layered wind-proof jackets, which I have always been using. The outer shell should be strong enough to handle any harsh weather conditions you might encounter here in Beijing, while its internal layer keeps you warm and tidy despite the temperature outside. Just remember to take it off inside the rooms, should be warm enough, better do so even if it's not, or you may catch cold anyway. And about the air pollution. As for the city of Beijing, like many other cities in mid northern China, pollution comes along with the winter. Fortunately, the infamous killer wind of Changping and the pollution never show up at the same time. The mighty wind from the far north, drives away most of the microscopic particle which is harmful to your health. However, it does really have another meaning, that is, if you are free from air pollution, you may get blown high up to the sky, and once you feel warmer, well the pollution actually does make it warmer by the way, you will soon find yourself surrounded by hazardous air. Suffering either way, and it is not up to you to choose. So, prepare yourself with a thick warm cloth and a mask always. Personally I have been rather busy for the passing two weeks, I mean, before the National holiday. It was mostly about some propaganda and members recruiting efforts for the Broadcasting Station and the Military Funs Association. Was tiring of course, I did have a feeling of travelling backward in the floating river of time, to when I was still a freshman, for being busy alike, working my head off, not having enough for a dinner. But totally worth it I would say, totally worth it. Firstly, we have enlisted more than 40 new members for the MFA, some of whom are very promising. The amount of our new recruits is climbing like never before, and among them are more girls than ever as well I would say, with pride. Well, never mind of course it was a joke. And now, the Broadcasting Station, the English group, we, are having… kids! The kids, who have successfully made it through, are showing great potentials, in their language use as well as their pronunciations. Their pride matches their ability, as a freshman it may be a good or opposite, but I am most satisfied, and I am looking forward to get along well with our new hostesses with much confidence. Well I think this is it, this is it for the week, still got books to read and papers to write. This is Frederick speaking in air wishing you a very good weekend. Enjoy the music, enjoy the day relax~
