介绍:
orenzo's Health Corner: Eat Your Fruits & Veggies First This holiday season, make sure you engage in healthful living by eating well, moving more, sleeping restfully, engaging in positive conversation, and fostering calm.  As the CDC notes, you need to eat more veggies and fruits.  Start your meal with the sides and end with a mindful bite or two of desert.  With that said, if you have spent the previous 360 days engaged in only healthful eating, then you can treat yourself to more indulgences this weekend.   “Fruits and vegetables can be delicious and nutritious -- but too many Americans are still passing them by, a new report finds. Just 9 percent of adults eat enough vegetables and only 12 percent get the recommended amount of fruit daily, according to a new report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Vitamins, minerals, fiber and other good stuff in fruits and vegetables can help ward off heart disease, type 2 diabetes, some cancers and obesity.   But just one in 10 adults is eating more fruits and vegetables than recommended in the government's 2015-2020 dietary guidelines.”   https://consumer.healthday.com/vitamins-and-nutrition-information-27/food-and-nutrition-news-316/cdc-wants-america-to-eat-its-fruits-amp-veggies-728598.html   Story: Pug & Pig Trick-or-Treat.
