Death toll in China building collapse rises to 4 Four people have been confirmed dead following the collapse on Friday of a six-story residential building in Jiangxi. Rescuers confirmed an injured man and at least one of the dead had been working on the renovation. The building was built in the 1980s, and contained around 30 households. China's Y-12F aircraft certified by FAA A new Chinese-made airplane has received certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration. The Y-12F regional turboprop is manufactured by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China. It's the third model in the Y-12 series to obtain FAA certification. Two Chinese firms fined for stock market dodgy practices China's securities regulator has fined two firms for dodgy practices that have been blamed for causing volatility in the Chinese stock market. Accounting firm REANDA was found to have failed to perform its duties when auditing a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The China Securities Regulatory Commission confiscated 350-thousand yuan or 53-thousand U.S. dollars of REANDA's revenue, and fined it the same amount. The regulator also fined investment company Chuangying Investment 400-thousand yuan for illegally releasing information of a listed company. Beijing airport steps up inspections to curb Zika virus Beijing has stepped up inspections at the city's main airport in an effort to curb the spread of the Zika virus. The move comes after the sixth case of the mosquito-borne disease was reported in the country. The measures include monitoring incoming passengers and reinforcing staff training about the virus. Anyone whose body temperature is over 37.3 degrees Celsius will be taken to a testing center for further examination. Authorities say the risk of Zika spreading is increasing due to the warmer weather. 12 killed as suicide attack rocks eastern Afghan provincial capital At least 12 people have been killed and 40 others wounded after a suicide bomber was detonated in Asadabad, capital of Afghanistan's Kunar. The blast occurred on Saturday morning near the provincial governor office. The target of the attack was Hajji Khan Jan, a local pro-government leader, who died along with three of his men by the attack. The blast also damaged several houses nearby. Korea leader guides test fire of newly developed anti-tank rocket It's being reported that North Korea's top leader Kim Jong Un has guided the test firing of a newly developed anti-tank guided weapon. Reports say the weapon was developed by North Korea's national defense experts. Cuba, EU to resume negotiations to normalize ties Cuba and the European Union are expected to resume talks on normalizing bilateral relations. Negotiators from the two sides will meet in Havana on Thursday and Friday for the seventh round of talks. The meeting will address pending issues on political dialogue and cooperation. Cuba is the only Latin American country without a bilateral treaty with the EU.
