Domestic taxi-hailing app Didi Kuaidi raised tens of billions of US dollars last year from global investors. It received 1.4 billion calls in 2015, and the figure might double this year. Pilot killed in Hong Kong plane crash A pilot has died after his aircraft crashed into a reservoir in Hong Kong. Local police received a call on Saturday afternoon, saying a small plane fell into the water in the New Territories district. The victim was confirmed to be the pilot of a single-engine Z42 trainer aircraft. Rescuers also recovered a single wheel and some debris. The aircraft belonged to the Hong Kong Aviation Club. There were no other passengers on board when the incident occurred. An investigation is underway. The proposal has been put forward by the right-wing Swiss People's Party. Opponents say the new law may create a two-tier justice system which will unfairly target foreigners who live permanently and legally in the country. If adopted, the proposal would strengthen moves adopted in 2010 to deport foreigners convicted of murder or sexual violence.
