介绍:
Calvin Wang Hong is a Chinese interior designer. He is the first Chinese to win the Andrew Martin International Interior Design Award. The award is regarded as the Oscars in the interior designers circle.
After graduation from the Architecture College of Chongqing University, Wang Hong worked for ten years in China. He then went abroad for further study. In 2003, he graduated from the Chelsea College of Art and Design at the University of the Arts London.
Wang then came back to China, and restarted his career. His major projects include: Holiday Inn Express in Tianjin and Chengdu, the Courtyard by the Canal, Air China Headquarter Building, IFC Tower, Kwans Central Island Club, Fortune Garden, Yan's Garden, KF Foundation etc.
Wang pays close attention to combine modern design with the Chinese culture characteristics, absorbing elements from the past and modern days. He hates being boring and is always looking for changes. For him designing is the reflection of one's heart, and he always try to fill more positive energy into his designs.
Calvin Wang Hong is currently working with GENESIS Property to build a large commercial community Genesis Beijing located at the Yansha Business District along the Liangma River.
