As for this new friend, I don’t know his name but his job – a net bargainer who bargains (讨价还价)on your behalf (代表你) for lower prices while shopping on the Internet.
How does a net bargainer work? For example, you may think that 120 yuan is reasonable for a sweater which is priced 150 yuan at an online store. And then you could find a net bargainer, who is going to take half an hour bargaining with the online seller and come back to you with the sweater for 100 yuan. After the deal, you have to pay the bargaining fee – 20 percent of the price gap, which means you’re gonna pay one fifth of the 50 yuan for the bargainer. So in total, you pay 110 yuan – 100 yuan for the sweater and 10 yuan bargaining fee.
You may wonder why you need a net bargainer; you could absolutely do it yourself. Yes, of course. But you may not succeed. The net bargainers have their own way to collect price information and bargain with online sellers. They can help us get the victory of the bargaining battle at the fairest price.
