介绍:
A hurricane is a huge rotating storm with very speedy winds that forms over warm water in tropical areas. Hurricanes are also called cyclones or typhoons. Hurricanes normally form within 5 to 15 degrees latitude north and south of the equator. Hurricanes form upon about 80 degrees Fahrenheit warm ocean water of the tropical areas. When the warm moist air on the ocean surface rises, it is recouped by comparatively cooler air. The cool air will then warm and start to rise up. This process causes large storm clouds to form. The storm clouds will begin to rotate with the spin of the earth. If there is plenty of warm water, the cycle will go on and the stormy clouds and wind speeds will increase, causing a hurricane to form.
