I've always been a big fan of NBA because basketball is my favorite sport. When I was a teenager, Michael Jordan was a household name at home and abroad. He was the epitome of basketball and he was all the rage then. I was rooting for the Chicago Bulls then and whenever there was a Bull's game on TV, I had my eyes glued to the TV for sure simply because of MJ. He was famous for his signature move, which is his fade-away jumper. I think that's what set him apart from others in NBA. He was the cream of the crop in the whole league. Not only his agility and his magic touch with the ball but also his stellar jump shots help him get established in NBA.
He went down history with his achievements of winning six championship titles. That was quite a feat. There was one game that will forever stick in my mind. At a game where the Bulls were pitted against the Utah Jazz in the final round, Michael Jordan came down with the flu but he insisted going on the court to play. I forgot how many points he scored at that game, but I'm sure it was probably 30-ish. You've got to hand it to him because he put up a stellar performance even though he was so exhausted because of the flu. That's why I hold him in high regard. His tenacity is really inspirational to me and I think only perseverance can help me get there in my field in the end.
