…Double /twie/three(four)times+as+形容词/.副词+as…
=…times （其实省略了of）the 名词+of+….
A是B的一半...通常不用as one time as...因为本质上是A equals B.
一倍半：Half as many/much/其他的形容词、副词+ again as一倍半
=half as many/much as(半倍)+as many/much again as(加一倍)
I am half as old again as you.
这栋建筑是那栋的三倍大/高
The building is three times as large as that one.
The building is three times the volume of that one.
The building is three times as high as that one.
The building is three times the height of that one.
他得到了那个金额的两倍.
He got double the sum.
他们想至少要把工资提高一倍。
They want at least double their salaries.
样样东西几乎都是平时价格的两倍。
Everything was almost double the normal price. (这里的double是限定词，可以放the或my/their/your之前)
从"两倍"到"十倍"的英文表达（-ble和-ple结尾的表示倍数的词）：
两倍double 、三倍treble/ triple 、四倍quadruple [kwɑ'drupl]翻两倍、五倍quintuple
['kwɪntjʊpl]、六倍sextuple['sɛkstjʊpl]、 七倍septuple[sɛp'tjʊpl]、 八倍octuple['ɑktjʊpl]
