【集体名词的用法】
如：Family家庭，class 班级，committee委员会，fleet 船队，audience观众，crowd群众，crew船员，party团体；政党额，army军队
用法1：代表及集合体之用法：和普通名词的用法完全一样，有单数形，复数形，也可加冠词。
用法2：代表集合体之组成份子的用法时，本身为复数名词。
1.Family
A.My family is a big one我的家庭是个大家庭。
B.There are only a few families in this village.这个村庄里只有几户人家。
C.Does he have any family?他有家人吗
D.My family are tall我的家人都很高。
A family一个家庭，families多个家庭， family家人
注意any后所加名词的形式，
否定句句：any +可数名词复数/不可数名词
肯定句中表示：任何一个，any +可数名词单数
A.Do you have any questions to ask ?
B.I don’t have any books in hand.
C.There is not any water in the cup.
2.People
People表集合体指“民族”有单、复数形式
表集合体的组成份子时，指“人、人民”本身为复数形式。
选出表达有误的选项（B）
A.The chinese are a plolite people
B.The Japanese is an industrious people.
C.Among the people at the party, I did not know a single person.
注：the Chinese, the Japanesem the English...均表全国国民的复数名词，做主语时用复数动词。
A Chinese一个中国人， many Chinese许多中国人， every Chinese 每个中国人， the Chinese people全体中国人。
世界上有很多不同的民族
There are many different peoples on the globe.
旅行时你可以遇到各式各样的人。
You meet all sorts of people when you travel.
美国人不习惯用单数名词加复数动词，所以常用the members of 或every one of 接集合名词family, committeem class,, crowdzdeng ,以表示组成份子，而避免使用:单数主语+复数动词的形式.
The memebers of the committee are divided in their opinions.
Every one of my family is an early riser.
3.committee
表集合体指委员会，有单复数形式
指“委员们”本身为复数形式
委员会在市政府开会.
The committee___MEETS____(meet；meets) in the town hall.
委员们意见分歧,他们对调查方式意见不一致。
The committee are divided in opinion,___THEY HAVE_________（They have, it has）disagreed about the ways of investigation.
The memebers of the committee are divided in their opinions.
