World Food Crisis🍚全球面临大饥荒

1. Now the number of people teetering on the edge of famine in 43 countries has risen to 45 million as acute hunger spikes around the world. In a warning from the UN World Food Programme, African countries have increasing risk to hunger including Ethiopia, Somalia, Angola, Kenya and Burundi. 2. WFP Executive Director David Beasley links the increasing numbers to conflict, climate change and Covid-19. The WFP said that together with humanitarian partners across the world, they are doing everything they can to increase aid. However available resources aren't able to keep pace with demand as traditional funding streams are under huge strain. 3.
