1. Recently I've had the itch to read a sports manga even though I'm not really a fan of sports at all. I don't watch or play sports much and honestly I've never even bothered to learn the rules to very many of them. 2. He doesn't even know the first thing about the game and only gets into it to impress a girl he likes. 4. These humor and action elements have a universal appeal and you'll quickly find yourself invested in the story and the characters not because you like basketball but because you enjoy its style of comedy and intense well drawn fight scenes. 5.
