Things about the Future

Forget sci-fi fantasies about flying cars, space villages, one-pill meals and robot housekeepers. Most recently, some scientists have made some predictions for the future. They have answered the questions the British want to know about the future. Here are some of them. Will our jobs be taken by robots? Some of them will. Is the Planet in danger of extinction? Quite probably. What about life on the Earth? The non-human animals on the top of the food chain, like lions and tigers, will die out. Scientists also warn that the changing environment could lead us to a point where coffee can no longer survive on our planet, or where the marine life could disappear. They say life will continue on the Earth as it has for four billion years. What we are doing is removing the ability for us to live on the Earth. Their predictions do provide some interesting perspectives on clean energy, climate change and health, both physical and mental. They have also talked about flying cars. They say we might finally get them. The main issue seems to be stopping them from crashing into each other. What’s the most important thing among the things we “need to know” about the future? The one the scientists are 100% confident is: Expect the unexpected. They say they are optimistic about the future.
