介绍:
McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King ... Many fast food companies have something in common: Their logos are all red. Why? The answer goes back thousands of years. Red is one of the first colors our ancient ancestors thought important to name. Back before alphabet and writing, there were only words for “black”, “white” and “red”, but not much else. As a result, we have a deeper connection to red. What’s more, researchers have found that red can raise a sense of urgency. On top of that, it also has a natural ability to stimulate our appetites. Those two perfectly attract hungry customers. A red logo is not just a welcoming sign, but it’s also a temptation to your brain. In fact, today red is one of the few colors that cultures all over the world view positively. After all, we’re a visual species. Despite having five senses, 80% of the information our brains process on a daily basis comes from our eyes. According to an investigation, nearly 85% of consumers say the main reason they choose one product over the other is color. Another 80% say that colors are what make the brands easy to recognize.
